Key position change at Fitt Resources

Joe Werner, Site Services Manager at Fitt Resources will be stepping down from his role. Fitt Resources wishes Joe all the very best for the future, and thank him for his valued contribution and dedication to his position.

We are pleased to announce his replacement, Jonathan ‘Johnno’ Clark to the position.

Johnno brings to the position a wealth of experience and engineering knowledge, notwithstanding Johnno has worked for Fitt Resources in varying capacities for nearly 6 years, his roles were varied and ranged from;

• Service Sales Engineer
• Project Management – dismantling and refitting of large rotating pumps and valves within the water/wastewater industry.
• Troubleshooting and general service work – service inspections of water/wastewater pumping stations throughout NSW, site supervision of installation of pumps, valves and pipe work.

His previous employers were the following;

• Weir Engineering – Service Sales Engineer – Project Manager of large job sites
• TGE (Transfield General Electric) – Site Service Manager

Qualifications and Skills:

• Fitter/Boiler Maker – Trade
• Confined space and working at heights certified
• Electrical connect and disconnect certified
• 15 years rotating equipment knowledge and troubleshooting

The site services business unit is well supported by our Sydney Branch, led by manager Steve Keiler. Steve has run the division for over six years and has built a qualified team of project managers and tradespeople who have vast experience in performing engineering tasks offsite. This experience has been gained by completing many engineering projects and continuing to provide engineering services to the Department of Defence (Navy) Garden Island Dockyard.
